Description

Every day learning play dates! We would like to open our Dalhousie home to your little person/people. I provide snacks and home-prepared meals (hot and cold). Our home is busy, complete with big orange cat and playful small dog. I have many books, craft supplies, activities, and toys for children from little to not-so-little.



I have openings to fit your schedule. Together, we will discuss your needs and what I can provide. My plan from there is to honour those needs and enjoy every day with the children, exploring new ideas and enjoying familiar things.



I have child care experience from years ago and returned to it now that I have become a mom. My greatest learning experience was being a supportive roommate to a developmentally delayed young woman. It was here I was introduced to the Reading Reflex reading method and discovered I do have a remarkable capacity for patience. I recently attended a Positive Discipline workshop and gained a great appreciation for level of understanding young children have if they are directed in a positive way how to express themselves.
